I’m always, always, always yours. These are the words that are at the heart of what I feel. I can’t promise perfection or flowers every day, but I can promise that I’m always yours.
You will be the only woman I love and that holds my heart. You will always have my attention and affection, But before you receive what is yours, God will have me and what is rightfully His. I promise to place Him always before you and even myself. I earnestly desire His guidance and patience because He is the only reason I can say these words. I ask that you always love me and be patient when I fail. Forgive me for my evil days and shameful ways. I promise you that sometimes I will be thoughtless and impatient, but I also promise I will make up for my failures. I will always say sorry, I love you, and pray with you. You break my heart with how much you love me. Thank you for being my best friend. I love you my beautiful bride. Never forget that you are always beautiful, lovely, and always worth fighting for. My father once told me about a verse from Ecclesiastes saying that you, I, and God create a three pronged chord. I promise that this will be what holds us together. I am still learning to do this and will always be, But I promise you that forever and ever I am always, always, always yours.
You may not remember this, but in The Love Dare it says, “The only way love can last a lifetime is if it’s unconditional. The truth is this: love is not determined by the one being loved but rather by the one choosing to love.” “Unconditional love, agape love, will not be swayed by time or circumstances.” We have been through great times and rocky times. It was during the rocky times that we clung to God’s unconditional love and translated it to our relationship. Every time I see my agape tattoo, I think of what we have been through, only by God being the foundation of our relationship. 1 Corinthians 13:7 says, “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” We love with a love that is more than the love of humanity. We may not know where life will lead us, but I have faith that God will guide us. I know I can be a fireball sometimes, but E.E. Cummings wrote, “The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.” I promise to make the most of our marriage by putting God first, and you second. Without even realizing it, you taught me a lot of things. Not only about life, but how it’s okay to feel something extraordinary about someone. May the Lord make my love overflow for you. My heart is, and always will be, yours. I promise all these things 100%, no loop holes. I love you Adam Matthew White.

Adam and Emily met at bible college and Emily was smitten by Adam the first day she saw him; his shaggy blonde hair and bushy beard from living in Guatemala the past 2 months, and his desire to live a life sold out to God. What caught Adam’s eye was Emily’s long red hair and sitting in the grove outside reading her bible every day. A friendship BLOSSOMED, sparks flew, and the rest is history.
